Nedko Dochev

I was born in February 1974 in the town of Balchik, one of the most beautiful coastal towns in Bulgaria.

I received my primary education in Balchik. Then I studied for 6 years and I graduated from Iliya Petrov Fine Arts Secondary School in Sofia and I continued my studies at the Nikolay Pavlovich Academy of Art where I majored in Illustration and Graphic Design. While studying there, during the summer months, I started painting portraits in the holiday resort of Albena, and two years later – in Golden Sands Resort. In the period of 2005-2007 I continued this practice at Miramare Hotel, Sidé, Antalya, Turkey. In the spring of 2008 I left for the island of Gran Canaria, Spain and I painted portraits there all-year-round for 6 years. For several years now I have been drawing in shopping center “Galleria” in Vienna during the winter and in the summer you can find me on the seaside street in Balchik. I have always managed to make the clients happy with my work keeping a sweet memory of a person or an event in the most wonderful way –having a picture of it. I can even combine more characters or items sourcing from several photos in a single picture
